This Privacy Policy describes how the Kava Time AI mobile app ("Kava Time", "the app", "we") handles information when you use it.
Summary
- No sign-in or user account.
- No advertising.
- No analytics, tracking, or third-party trackers.
- Photos you provide are used only to generate an edited image and are not linked to your identity.
What we process
To use Kava Time, you provide a photo using your device's camera or photo library. When you choose a photo, the app uploads it to our backend, which forwards it to a third-party AI image-editing provider (Google's Gemini API) for the sole purpose of generating an edited image with the Nukava bottle composited into your photo. The edited image is returned to the app for you to view and save.
What we do not collect
- We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal information.
- We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, precise location, or device identifiers for tracking.
- We do not show ads and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not use analytics SDKs or third-party trackers.
Photo handling and retention
Your photo is transmitted over HTTPS to our backend, processed in memory to make the AI request, and is not intentionally stored beyond the time required to complete the request. Photos are not associated with your identity. The AI provider may process the photo according to its own terms in order to perform the requested editing operation; please refer to Google's privacy documentation for details about their processing.
Permissions
The app requests access to your camera and photo library only when you tap the camera or gallery button. These permissions are used solely to let you pick or capture the photo you want to edit. You can revoke them at any time in your device settings.
Children's privacy
Kava Time is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
